Street-O @ Tunstall Junction

First Winter series event. All events from now until next summer are Score events - you have a set time to get as many controls as you can, with different controls having different points values. Course B must be back by 7:50pm, which works out at somewhere around the 45-minute mark after usually leaving late and getting back early.

Tonight's was no exception, finally being given the "Go!" at 7:02. Warm humid night. Interesting course, with no obvious "best" way around. Left myself with 5 minutes to run the last km home - do-able, but UPHILL and at the end of a run. I made it with nearly a minute to spare... which meant that I *could* have made a dash for control #7 - but would I have got back on time?!

7.4 km with an average pace of 6:21.
